Abigail Osho
(Registered Physiotherapist)
As a licensed physical therapist based in Canada, I hold extensive qualifications and experience in the field of physiotherapy. I graduated with honours, earning a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 1997, a master’s degree in Public Health in 2008, and a doctoral degree in Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy in 2012, all from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Additionally, I completed a postgraduate degree in Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta in 2015.
I am certified to perform specialized services such as dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, manipulation therapy, and pelvic floor rehabilitation in Alberta, Canada. My passion for helping others led me to establish Rhema-Gold Physiotherapy in 2018. I am dedicated to rehabilitating patients with sport-related injuries, motor vehicle accident-related injuries, work-related injuries, and chronic pain and disease management.
With over 25 years of experience in practice, I have consistently focused on assisting clients in returning to work and sports, and achieving their goals of regaining pre-injury levels of function. My expertise extends to pediatric physiotherapy, having led a team in this area for six years.
My strength lies in my ability to engage in research and apply evidence-based practices in therapeutic interventions. I prioritize listening to my clients and targeting the root causes of their injuries and disabilities to facilitate rehabilitation and prevent future recurrences. My experience spans across rehabilitating children, young adults, adults, and older adult populations.
